Final photo before I post a completed thread to wrap this up. I have since flat varnished the Stuka, with limited and subtle weathering, unmasked the canopy framing (:eek:), and painted the rear machine guns, tail tyre, and navigation lights. The radio mast, seen wonky here and the previous post's photo, snapped earlier in the painting process. I broke it again unmasking the canopy, and took the opportunity to get it straightened. the landing light popped in easily without fuss into the wing leading edge.

YES Flyjoe very nice paint work an what calibre was them big guns they were tank desttroyers wenrt they ? an how many shells did it carry in them guns mags ? but brilliaint modelin at it best an i always thought they look like a vultrue flyin in

YES same here Geoff if there something to knock off on a model i will do it to i suppoce its just bein clumsey oh dear

Hey Chris, thanks mate. The guns were 37mm calibre, used for anti-tank operations. I had to look up the magazine capacity. The guns each held 12 round magazines, fired at 160 rounds per minute, so they could be emptied in around 4 and a half seconds.

Cheers Geoff. I knocked the antenna mast off, so didn't get away with it entirely
