    After reading up a bit on these I found out they were delivered from the factory in standard olive drab and were hand painted in the sand colour by the soldiers , so thats what im going to do too. Most of the parts have had a coat of olive drab and I think I'm going to brush paint the sand .

    Heres the ancient ESCI Henschel hs129 in 1/48 . A tooling from 1977 but with a little bit of fettling and a set of etch seat belts scrubs up pretty well .

    Undercarriage fitted then it was time to fit the big gun. The attachment for this was very poor , just a big slot for the barrel and no fixing locations for the gondola so it was a lot of looking at photos and 3 view drawings to see exactly where it needed to be .     Demasked , glossed and decals applied . Ive fitted the replacement exhausts and it will now be getting a sealing matt coat ,then I can start adding the final few bits and giving it a light weathering.
