Well, I think I've finally posted everything completed in my no picture phase

So, to anyone thinking I'm in the wrong sub, Cruiser tanks, A9, A10 and A13, Western Desert and Greece, 1941, all based on individual photos

Figures are 3DJSon off eBay, stowage is Perrys and Debris of War

As the MG turrets are open, I thought I'd mock up the Vickers breeches. But, of course, the figures then didn't fit

Left is the original MG turret, centre the turret out of the Rubicon 28mm T-26, and the final article

Most of the photos I've seen of this have interested Germans climbing over it, after every spare and loose bit of gear has been snaffled! Apparently, it was even used on picture postcards


The weird purple colour is the Sudan Caunter scheme

It's always the hatches with these things that need the most work!

'Amy' was photographed several times, and though AoS signs marked her as still serving in 7th Armoured from a year previously, rather than 32nd Army Tank Bde. that was part of the Garrison. Obviously, the crew had better things to worry about than ensuring their symbology was up-to-date! That's the reality of vehicle signage!

Another, probably later, photo, shows Amy with the entire right-side skirts torn back from hitting s mine

Those are impressive. Very interesting background to the models as well. You must have good eyes and steady hands to work at this scale.

Though I've just noticed on the A-9 one of the gunner's hands isn't properly painted. Bloody digital cameras blow stuff up that you can't otherwise see

Really great.Love the desert cruisers and think ive got a first to fight kit in stash.
