I live quite near, and frequently drive under, the most bashed bridge in Britain, and it always seems to me that they hit it and high speed hoping to force their way through!

Nicely done.
There's one near a town in West Yorks that gets clobbered like this periodically.
I once saw a lorry underneath it and the top of the trailer had been opened like a tin of sardines.
