This will be the main vehicle on my forthcoming Ardennes diorama. I have had this kit for ages and never really looked at it. I must admit that so far, I am pleasantly surprised by it. It is not my intention to let this drag on and get bogged down so quick build style is the order of the day.

So here is the start, very nicely detailed running gear.

Then on with the body and interior

Got a bit more done today.  Two slight panics with the Mig Ammo Olive Drab paint.  First was that it looked far too brown in the bottle.  Panic over, it isn't, it looks good.  Second panic, it looks a bit spotty.  Could be I haven't shook it enough but it's going to be heavily weathered so not panicking yet.

love the modular design of this vehicle

And the way it all fits togetherView attachment 254443View attachment 254444

a bit of cutting allowed me to use the one piece dashboard decal over a very 3D instrument panel

Can really recomend this kit, it is a dream to build.

I've built this and I agree, great kit to build. Just in case you didn't realize there's a part to mold the p.e front light guards. It's not mentioned in the instructions.

Cheers Aaron, I didn't know this and that stage is on the cards for later  9_9

I love what I am seeing in here . I bet it will be a hel of a dio! Good job!

Really like this kit a lot, will you improvise removable engine cover panels to show the excellent engine detail, which can be enhanced with scratched up fuel, oil, water and vacuum lines? I think that would look fantastic!.............Jim :)

Not this time Jim.  However, the kit is really worth doing that way and I may look at another for a future project.  This one is destined for a simple diorama.

To be honest, this kit has been sitting in the stash for ages, I never realised just how good a kit it is.  Potentially The best HobbyBoss kit to date and that is saying something.

Understandable, but boy that is a great kit no doubt, I really like the old WW2 artillery tractors of all countries and the WW1 tractors?.....well... that's the stuff dreams are made of 9_9
