Maybe time to "fiddle" with some highlight colours on some parts Jim. That way you can add some effects of 'sunlight' from whichever angle you decide.

Don't worry Paul, still plenty of "fiddling" left to be done as figures are still in dark wash phase, just wish I had more time to work on them on a daily basis at least, but prepping for winter takes up much of my time at the mo. Funny you should mention "fresh" as there are certain ways some folk know how to hit certain critters when the opportunity presents itself so as not to damage meat too much though I've never gone for that sort of thing ^_^

Don't know why I'm giving this last update so close to completion  but think I'll be involved for a bit in other things. Still some finalizing to be done here and there and a few bits of minutia to be added. Experimenting with pics, lighting etc... Will tone things down a bit for final "Completed" version. Just trying to get colors and shading right............Jim

In answering a request on how I alter figures, I referred to this thread, here are updated and best pics possible with my limited photo skills of the end results
attained.
Basic scrap box figure items used and with some patience and a bit of imagination even mundane ho-hum items destined for the bin can be made into an absolutely unique one of a kind piece.
Any one can do it and I think it might just open up a whole new perspective for many folks droned down with only what the manufacturers might think up for them in terms of the human condition depicted in thei dioramas.
