I'm going to stencil this on to a perspex tube to house the wires, gonna drop a couple of green bulbs in and light it. No idea how to make the stencil though.....

hi
i can relate had same problem with voyager conversion double wire's on led's , had to measure to keep wiring to min so to fit but hence i had trouble closing trapped wire's hence it took longer to complete ,keep in there ,there is an answer

Wiring the last of the 6 bulbs for navigation/shuttle bay. Placement of fibre optics cable and connecting to appropriate bulbs.

Starting to seal the saucer section. Just needs gluing together, putty and re-painting then it's ready for the decals

Thread owner
And finally got the modelling putty out, and the saucer is sealed.

That is some serious electric plumbing job!!:confused:

Looking good!!:)
Yeah, there are 35 bulbs in the saucer, started with 5, and I just kept adding. 9 white for interior lighting, 4 for the impulse engines, 15 for the phaser array, 6 on the shuttle bay and one spot light. I just kept adding systems to it..

I have now, and I've gone easy on the rest of the ship. Each nacell will have 3 red and 2 blue bulbs and one bless led strip. The engineering hull only has 3 bulbs in and all the navigation lights are fibres run from the shuttle bay and 1 yellow for the deflector dish. so defo nothing more going in. And your right sealing the saucer was a little tricky lol

Tonight's work. Put another Circuit in the warp engines, with plenty of cable to allow it to go in to the display Base for attaching to the circuit board

Thread owner
All wires, fibre cables in place and ready for wiring. Need to attach the second engine then it's time sort sort the wires. And there is more than a few of them.
