After a very long and protracted build I've finally finished!
Revell boxing of the Dragon USS Independence CVL-22. Built mainly out of the box but with the help of a Gold Medal Models etched set designed for USN CVE/CVL. All paints used are Lifecolor acrylics.

David, I really enjoy following your builds. This is up there with the rest of your excellent models, but my goodness, what a narrow flight deck - No room for approach errors. I bet the 'Bat Man' was kept busy!

You can't help but wonder at the courage displayed by all naval pilots and aircrew displayed in not only taking off from these ships but also coming aboard in often less than ideal conditions.
