Look fwd to seeing it Lee, where the winter wash model ? Can I see it on here ?
John .

I would rather leave it off if I put a different one on look out I’ll get slammed.
If that’s your worry then you’ll be damned if you do and damned if you don’t: there should be a registration number on the tail, so leaving it off will get you slammed by people who insist it should be there, and if you put on the “wrong” one for a specific plane you’re modelling, then you’ll get slammed by those who spot it’s not the correct number. To be honest, the chances of the former are bigger than the latter, if you ask me :)

Thanks Jakko
The only ones left are the blue ones guess I’ll take a chance

Hi Lee
It's a nice looking plane. Shame about the decals. Were they just poor or was it old age? The decals in old kits are often unuseable.

They were aftermarket ones never had any problems with them in the past sometimes you just get a bad Bach due to the age of the paper it was printed on. Most of the time the printer of the decals has no idea how old the paper was when they buy it that’s the gamble you take

The wrong one is always better than none IMHO. Many observers are unaware of the significance of the numbers. I've seen many military models w/wrong German license plates & US serial#s. I think it falls under minutia, but I still try to be accurate where convenient. PaulE

I’m getting closer to the end of the build. Here’s a update just a few small things and I’m calling it done. I’ve added the Wheels, prop, canopy and a few small items. Hope to wrap this up tonight.E0956267-DD6A-45EC-A23A-8E736BCAE68A.jpeg9474FCA7-A617-4F86-AB6F-4CA75B179EB1.jpegD05757C5-340C-4C1A-96D6-9B92D04698DB.jpeg2DD090FD-64A0-4BE5-867A-F1F0D20385D5.jpeg

Thanks Rick. Probably the Prettiest I’ve ever built funny thing is I never liked this paint scheme

Paint job was unusual, but came out great. After market tires really do make a big difference. PaulE
