Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2019)

Hi all
These are small clips intended for sewing. The wife bought them from Aldi - £2.99 for 25.

So they grip the fabric they have little teeth in the jaws. Not good for modelling. They slip on the plastic and/or scratch the paint. I cut some small pieces of that art foam, folded it in half so the foam fits the jaws and prevents the problems. They work a treat and being small fit into awkward places. They have a remarkably good grip.

They do some bigger ones as well.

Another to cross off my wish list!!!!revell junkers.jpg

I've been bidding on ebay for one of these for a long time, but they've always gone for what I considered too much ( £18 + ). At last, I got one. for just under £10 delivered. Call me a cheapskate, but I always enjoy a model more, if I know I got it at the right price! :money-face:

Oh blame the old boy, that the trouble with the youth of today no restraint when it comes to spending money, that money could have gone to Pete's retirement fund.
Pete.
