Scale Model Shop

WHAT PRESSEI'S DID SANTA BRING YOU ?

Thank you lads. No doubt when I build the Dora (and the Lotus for that matter) I will provide a narrative of their builds.

BTW, I also have the HobbyBoss 1/72 'Leopold' Railway Gun and Morser Karl-Geraet kits in my stash to accompany the Dora. Heaven knows where they will all go when they are eventually completed!

Well Dave cant you put up some more shelfs as that's what im gonna do for my big airplane kits THAT IS WHEN I build them :smiling2:

My little cottage has nowhere left for new shelving, Chris, as I have two big vices besides modelling - DVDs and books!

Airfix will be helping me out with my storage problem in the New Year though. They will be taking my built Airfix kits and giving them a new home at the Hornby Visitor Centre in Margate. That should free up some space but probably not enough for all of my future needs!

Hi all

I've already posted pics of my main gifts but below is my Secret Santa gift from a colleague. By way of background I should explain that I normally cycle to work (c. 5 miles each way) and so it's very apt given that and my modelling obsession!

I am seriously considering using the horn as my bell is proving troublesome at the moment!!!

The bike will probably make a cameo appearance on here at some point.....

I was about to say … Once upon a time, I knew someone who had fixed a horn much like that (a bit smaller, though) to his handlebars. When we were riding away somewhere, he honked it at some people we knew who were also just leaving. One of them literally jumped half a metre into the air :)

As a modern day Scrooge - I don't celebrate Christmas! - I haven't for about ten years - there are too many bad memories of this time of year ( I was popular before I retired, 'cos I'd work over Christmas ).
Sadly you can't avoid being caught up in the festivities, but I avoid them as much as is politely possible.
Christmas? - bah - Humbug!
Dave
Dave,
I know how you feel, I used to do the same, home Xmas eve late, slept most of Xmas day and then back out on Boxing Day - sort of lost the use for it after a few years.
Mike.

Hi guys merry Christmas to you all, I had Italeri M32, AFV Club Centurion Shot 1967, 12 Tamiya paints, A-F of Tamiyas weathering sets, Expo wire bending tool, paint and spray turntable, small shelves to store bits... non essential bits... aftershave, slippers, PS4 games, chocs... added bonus! This year I had no socks or Y fronts, winner! :smiling5:

Hello Paul,
Hope things turn out for the better, if you know what I mean. If you meet god tell him i'd like a word or two.
