Hello all.
Ive just received this gun,its only a cheapo i wanted to try out before spending over £100 on a decent one.
Anyway,i cannot get any paint to run through this.PSI is set at 20 and ive tried adjusting valves all ways.Ive mixed tamiya paint 2 to 1 thinners.and tried it with paint lid on and off(should it be with lid off?).
I'm just wondering if i'm missing the point, and could do with some help.
Thanks

Is the needle sticking, depends when last used and was it cleaned, especially the needle. 20 psi is fine does the trigger move back and forth ok

As to the cap i leave it on to keep dust in my garage but its not vital

Ok so lets forget about paint for the mean time, lets try water for now to see if we can get it flowing.

After trying Water - Follow these steps and report back with Pics. Be careful removing the needle out from the back of the airbrush at Step #4.

Thanks for taking the time to do the detailed pic.I'll do a little dismantling now then.

Hi Gary don't mean for this to sound daft but you are pushing down on the trigger before pulling back ,loosen off the little thingy pressure adjuster directly under the paint cup ,also slacken off the what I'd call with adjuster at the rear end of the airbrush Dave

Also, what is the valve directly below the paint pot?( i'm new to spray guns)
Thanks

That is a Mac Valve for fine pressure adjustment for now open it up full. Also from your pic whats is the arrangement at the hose connection.

Paint flowing now,thank you fella's,.
I'll admit i did loosen the needle chuck earlier, wrongly thinking that affected air flow.
Another lesson learnt.
Thanks again.

Well done, nothing like being able to ask from other members is there .
