this is just a surperd figures by the very talented sculpture; Joe Bail,who is based in the UK,
this is just one of his fantastic figures ,look him up on facebook, I don't real plug someone but his work is just great,
he stands at about 320mm the high of a ruler,so well done,
I,m hoping too be able to do him,and have a very high sanded to enter in the big Queens birthday show,
hope you like the big guy

if your going to do some think do it right lol,he is huge,a little scary as well,

well been some time,since i have done some work on theses too,
the reason don,t know just to busy playing LOTRO,
Also needed to get him fixed well to the base before even starting on him as he is so heave.
standing at 34cm or more,so once im happy he is there for good can,move on with him,
just needs some work on the joins ,and what to do about the back foot being up at the front
about 5mm a way to hide it, thinking with some weeds,i do won,t to add a wall light behind them,
but no clue what scale even to start with,as a Victorian ones were quite big, :rolling:
so hoping with a 3/4 base and longer pins dose the job,
as i mite put this in the June IPS Model show next year if its on

Hi Monica,

the left foot not sitting flat - make sure the casting block is sanded off then stick his leg in just boiled water. It should give enough flex to the resin to allow you to reposition it to sit flat

If he is 340mm tall he will need some substantial pins into his legs and base to stop him toppling over

Regarding scale - was there no scale indicated when you bought the kit?

If not, how tall is the girl? Average female height is around 5ft 3" so you if you are happy with her being average height you can work out a scale from that and use that scale to size the light
