Here is one of the plywood mounting plates for the main gear.

One of the flaps. 28 inches of it. I have glued a hardwood edge along the length to help prevent dings.

It is my impression that the older modelers are still building models of this caliber while the younger ones opt out for the 'get it in the air NOW' route...
That's very true indeed. I flew RC models too about 8 years in my younger days and produced a ton from plans.
It makes you think twice before taking off when you've build it from scratch!

I was just joking with the serious part. I wanted to keep the 'seriously' label a running joke.

The central crutch has been added. Then I'll proceed with more strip planking.

The crutch clearly won't bend in this position so I simply cut a crack of sorts to make it conform.
 
WELL Steven im very serious about building my tiger as there is a lot of work an money gone into this build not to take it serious
