Yes it was a great day Chris & Jen. Christmas, due to Covid 19, was the last get together so doubly satisfying. Also saw two of my grandsons which Pauline & I have missed.

Juts to reiterate not bending any rules as Jersey is not in lock down & so far all is working as normal. Distancing excepted.

Got a present from the youngest daughter. Captn. Tom. So I am going to learn how to get to 100 & pick up that card from mmm I supect a King. But who knows.

Would love it from the Queen. Born before me & what a Queen. Not well know she was in the ATS ( Auxiliary Territorial Service ie Womens Army)

Thank you Monica that is very nice of you. I did with my eldest daughter's family. Not seen any of my grandson due to covid & had a good chat with two of them on Sunday. A great day.

Just life is it not takes you to the highs then hits you on the head.

My daughters family where we celebrated on Sunday has a member tested positive for Covid 19.

Went to see the eldest son next day. The Youngest daughter came to see us yesterday.

We have a low number with the virus & not under lockdown. Luck of life.

However just think of that song "we will survive". Optimism.

Support here in Jersey is superb. Sebastian our Covid contact man spent 30 mins getting details & explaining all we needed to know. All in a very relaxed manner. Very impressed. Unfortunate it appears with numbers growing 130 to 100,000population lockdown is probably inevitable.
