HI Garry wow you sound as if you do have eye probs an i was worryied about havin a new lence fittid in my eye cant they do anything for you with this Fuchs Dystrophy ? as its horrible to not see properly doin this modeling larkI so happy for you that you are able to see again, and are on the mend after your op.
My left eye has Fuchs Dystrophy which is getting progressively worse, so basically I see with my right eye, with a little depth perception from the left.
It does make close up work like modelling a bit challenging, but at least I can still see.
All the best Chris.

OH Garry thanks for exsplaing what it is an sorry that not a lot can be done for you but if you can carry on modeling then all well an good an thank you for your kind comments on my eye op as i may have to have the other one done in the future as they said i have tiny caterak comin on that but now i know what the op consist of i shant worry so much an they shew me a video of how the op would be done an that helped no end all best to you sirHi Chris
Fuchs is a degenerative disease which creeps up on you over time, so I have actually been losing the sight in that eye for a few years now, so over time I have learned to adapt. My right eye takes over and I don't really notice the loss of vision so much.
The only remedy is a cornea transplant, and with a very severe shortage of donors, the likelihood of being eligible while I still have vision is extremely low.
I do wear specs for modelling, and sometimes two pairs, and have a large illuminated magnifier for the really fiddly bits.
To be honest, I can manage so I'm not complaining.
I'm very pleased however that you were able to get the lens that you needed.
All the best
Garry
