HI Rick yes the Seaking should look good but thats if i can hopefully build it to work an light up as the sea king is a lot more of a weaker model than the merlin as its more robust an the seaking has a lot of weak points to do an get over compared to the merlin but i'll give it the good ole college try an see what happens as there is gonna be a lot of planning ahead first before i start the seaking build cheers for stopping hope you are well an your familyLooking good there Chris........got your work cut out for you on that Seaking but will look the Bomb when she's all done. :thumb2: Rick H.
WELL Mick whats your job then testing out beds in slumberland LOLI'm still half asleep at work, I'm sure it will look just as amazing, now back to sleep zzzzzzz
AN G/M to you Steve an yes i am as i love a challange as its modeling isnt it an ive only seen a couple of seaking made an working with lights on these big carriers so far but never seen one built to go on a cruiser like my tiger so that should be something new just got to hope im not overstreching myself as i said in the top blogs that a seaking is a weak kit yes its ok to build an have static an they look good like Pete's one will do but to get it all working an lit up is a whole different kettle of fish as the rotar blades are very thin an the landing gear on them outriggers will also be weak points so they will all have to be strenghtened but planning ahead will see me through i thinkYou really are a glutton for punishment Chris - I don't think I would ever have even considered such a major undertaking mate! All respect to you, and all the best to you and yours.
Steve
HI Gerry well you are wellcome to come an see it take its maiden voyge but i can only give you about only one days or two days notice as it all to do with the wheather but if we get some nice wheather when she is finished an u give me your phone no then i can txt you to say she is goin to sail but i cant gaurentee there wont be problems as bumping along in our car may make something come adrift so just got to hope for the best an will be up sheringham as i can go there any time just got to hope we can park up as if nice wheather holiday makers will take all the car parking spaces an yesterday fitted the ship all togeather again an had probs again with them bloomin ESC SO TODAYi have taken them out an replaced them with heavy duty ESC an now its been running great today so its gone from this as they are not beefy enough to carry the ampsThis is going up and up - I'm definitely interested in coming up to see it out on a lake

WELL Gerry when we do take her we will be there for thw whole day if possibleChris, I'll send you my number by pm later, it's about a couple of hours from mine to sheringham on a quiet day (high summer and weekends would probably be a lot longer!)
It'd be good to spend a day there :thumb2: - not been that way for years, not even sure if I've ever been up there with my wife - Castle Acre, Lynn and West Norfolk, yes, but not sure about the Wells, Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley area - or even round to Yarmouth/Lowestoft :thinking:WELL Gerry when we do take her we will be there for thw whole day if possible

WELL Gerry lets hope it all plays out ok but the nice wheather is what we need more than anything an some car parking spaces but this wont happen for at least another yr or so as still a lot to do on tiger an tomorrow goin to start on the seaking build s rotatars to see if them tiny motors are strong enough to turn the rotars so im having funIt'd be good to spend a day there :thumb2: - not been that way for years, not even sure if I've ever been up there with my wife - Castle Acre, Lynn and West Norfolk, yes, but not sure about the Wells, Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley area - or even round to Yarmouth/Lowestoft

Superb work. The lighting really bring it to life. Love that steaming funnel. The work on the Sea King is just the icing on the cake.
A truly amazing build to follow.
