Well done Chris and glad that Jen had company while you were away and she had good food and care. Your Norfolk looked great as usual, and it was good to see all the other "floaty" things that showed up. I really liked seeing the African Queen steamer that was on display.....was a great movie when I saw it as a teen.....back when everything was black and white.

Thanks for the pictures Chris and it looks like you both had a lovely time. It's amazing to me that these things float and sail so good and look so realistic too. Best regards to you both and I hope that Jen is healing up just fine...............

Now.......What's for dinner Chris???..............

Chris,
She looked well at ease on the water mater, a credit to your building skills. The pennants that are flying are they for effect or did you get them to say something. Thanks for the pictures of the other builds. Hope Jen is recovering.

Looks like you had a great day Chris. Well deserved down time I’d say.

Some lovely models there Chris, especially Norfolk. Shame somebody had to damage it.
I saw some more great boat models today, at a model shop I've just discovered - Al's Hobbies in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. Didn't take any photos though, I'd left my phone in the car! :rolling:

HI Scottie yes Norfolk sailed well an im pleased with her an yes the pennants all mean something as i had the pennants chart /one is her ship call sign/an another is sayin to any other vessel that they are sailing into danger as Norfolk will be firein live rounds an missles/ an one of the other is sayin use norfolk call sign if in need of asssiant an i cant rememember what the fourth lot says :rolling: ;):nerd::smiling: an yes Scottie jen is a little happyier but she has a long way to go an im tyrin to keep her sprits up

HI Andy wow you lost for words dont belevie it lol an yes im pleased with my Norfolk an how she looks as she sails very nice an easy to control an hardly any rollin she is so stable on the wet stuff an ive had several boaty m8's look at her an say COR she is sittin at her correct water line an they then want to know the secret of her balance instalation but i just told them i was lucky at getting it right but the real ship is a stable weapons platform so i heard down in portmouth as she has a good wide beam an perfect hull hydrologergy meaning the hull shape is perfect for slippin through the water with the least drag which has been based on years of hull designing in the navy ship yards an she is a semi stealth ship so on a enamys radar she will only show up as a small fishin boat till they see her comin. An cheers Andy for the nice comments on her as yes she do look fairly realistic when sailing an the public love seein her sail an the phones are out vidoeing when i bring her round fairly close up
