Rick ,you can keep it,or share it with me. There is no way I'm getting my feet wet again since 570 threw me and Polly off his underwater boat. What's the matter with JR?......even I have one "floaty" thing in the stash!!![]()
:thinking:well J/R you can blame that crazy parrot LOLRick ,you can keep it,or share it with me. There is no way I'm getting my feet wet again since 570 threw me and Polly off his underwater boat.
AN RICK there is no exscuse come over to the dark floaty side as you must have thought about building it ONCE or you would never have bought LOLWell, in my defense.....I did say it was in the stash, has been for years. Don't know when I'll get around to building it. :smiling3:
Go on Rick you know you want to :smiling:Well, in my defense.....I did say it was in the stash, has been for years. Don't know when I'll get around to building it. :smiling3:
Thanks Cris, I understand, and have noted the red wire to be disconnected from one esc, I have seen that in videos and articles I have read, so I will be sure to do it.HI Garry well done on buyin new motors but i thought you would only need one ESC too power both motors AN i dont want alrarm you Garry but as you have ordered 2X ESC 'S well when you come to wire them up make sure you take out the the red power wire on just one R/X plug when goin into a Y lead if you use them both togeather as if not they will fight each other till they burn out as there can be only one power wire working them both as these ESC are BECC unit's an that stands for( BATT ELINMINATION CIRCUT)
as i had two in to power my tiger motors but i dint like the idea of the reciver R/X gettin its power from the ESC so i went back to the old treid an tested idea of havin a normal 6V batt power to the R/X AN then POWER the ESC 'S an if you dont understand what im on about Garry we will talk about it more when you get them BUT DONT WIRE THE ESC 'S UP TOGETHER UNTIL ONE RED POWER WIRE IS REMOVED OK

No Chris, I won't be adding a smoke unit.lookin good Garry are you fittin a smoke unit in her ? as these ships do smoke a bit when they open up the throttle an go to flank speed

Thank you PaulGarry,
Looking good.
Thank you for looking in Allen, The Flysky is a 10 channel model, so lots to play with, and as you say watch TV at the same time.HiNoahGarry,
Sorry, I have fallen a little behind on your build, but glad to hear you are feeling better now and back at the bench. I can't be any help with motors or ESC's, but I love your new Flysky control unit. Lotsa buttons and a nice TV screen too. How many channels do you get on it??? It looks you'll be having some fun, driving your ship around the pond and can watch Bennie Hill re-runs at the same time!!!...
Seriously though, your scratchy work is top rate too Sir!!! Being such a large project, I can imagine that's the only way you can build her up. Love the funnel work and it's good to hear you won't be adding a smoke unit. Ok, Chris is a little sad about that, but how could the Giraffes pop their head's out to look around when there's smoke blowing in their faces...........
Coat on, door found....................

Yes Allen the weather has warmed up significantly and we are into shorts and T's most days, it has to get to the high 30's for me to slow down, so a while to go yet.Ohhhh, I love stealth Garry and that sounds like a good plan. I would think that would keep the build costs down too. On another note, has the weather started to warm up down under and do you still build when it does??? I know that here, when it gets too hot, the Mojo takes a beating and wearing my optivisor is murder too...Drive on Sir!!!...
