The part of HMS Compass Rose was taken by HMS Coreopsis - she'd been transferred to the Hellenic Navy as Kriezis in 1941 & remained with then until 1952 - returned to the RN, she was waiting for disposal in Malta, when she was acquired by Ealing Studios for her starring role. It didn't take long & she arrived for scrapping in Sunderland. July 1952..................
