A big thanks from me for posting them up. I too am hopeful it's nothing serious with Jen's ankle and they won't need to do another OP on it...
Just wondering......If the screws are a bit loose, don't you have a phillips screwdriver in your tool collection? It should only take about 15 minutes to fix it. Jen might not be too amused though........
Wishing you two all the best. And soon, we have to talk about Tiger too...

wow Pete fancy that nuse sayin dont put any wheight on your foot then sayin people dont take any notice an walk on it that sheer carazyness you only did what she told you which is right an jens foot has 20 screws an metal plates in as her foot was broken in 3 places an at right angles so they will be in for life so see what the xray says when we hear an jen says does your foot hurt in the winter ?It's good that they're keeping an eye on Jen's screws.
I have a screw in my ankle after a car crash in 1976. A year after it was put in I had a checkup, and the consultant was surprised to see the screw was still there. "Why is the screw still there" he asked "Because you haven't taken it out" I replied (It was the same consultant surgeon who did the initial op). "Oh well" he said "it's too late to remove it now, you'll have to live with it". I wasn't impressed with that hospital (Cardiff Royal Infirmary) at all. When the plaster was first removed the physiotherapist told me to not put any weight on the ankle for at least 3 months. 3 months later I saw the same physio, who was surprised that I had very little movement in the ankle, and asked me if I'd been using it. I replied that she'd told me to not put any weight on my ankle, and she repled that she told every patient that but most didn't take any notice!
