Thanks guys. Having looked at pictures of the real thing I agree, but I don't think the artist got his angles right with that tail unit.
 
Das Werk’s version is a reboxed Dragon kit. No idea how good that is, but both are bound to be better than the old Tamiya one :)

The gun is good but the figures are not as portrayed ...

Most of those civilian figures are strangely specific, IMHO. IMHO, these would have been better with some alternative parts for a child in the pram, proper suitcases for the man to carry, etc. Also a less Soviet-style cap for the man, or a common hat as an alternative, would make them much more usable for all around Europe in the late 1930s/early–mid 40s.

It's almost like these figures have been sculpted from a specific street photograph - I agree that they should have alternative parts, like headgear, bags etc

The original basic model was a P-47D-25RE - this is a -30RE - what's the difference, apart from the decals? This may be the start of another MiniArt blanket coverage...........

I always thought RE stood for Religious Education...
