WELL mike that is bloomin fanstatic all that detail puts me in the shade with my builds very well done sir GROUCHO would be proud of you lol

The detail is just mind boggling.
Mike, what scale is this? I had a quick scan through and can't see it. (Doesn't bode well for a 1/72 build coming up does it??????)

You can just make out the barrel in the background that has had the white applied ready for masking off the centre marking.

Track building is now well underway - one done and one to go....
20240430_144516_HDR.jpg
Pallets are now toned down with some wood stain, but will be leaving one untouched.... The items on the left are the travel supports for the tubes...

Here is the start of the loads, one ratchet strap in place with the other to add....

And that is it for today.
Cheers
Mike.

I am late to the party but have just been through this build. Absolutely stunning Mike.

Your attention to detail is mind bending and produced so realistically, not my area of interest or knowledge but the skills shown are brilliant. Can't wait to see the finished article.

Update,
No pics at the moment.
Busy putting paint where it needs to go and sorting out what will go on the base. And sorting out the stowage.
As usual many thanks for the comments always welcome.
Cheers

Update...
All components have been detailed, decals applied and varnished now ready for some weathering....
The road wheels have been 'damaged' but I forgot to take a pic, will do later.
20240506_154306_HDR.jpg
The 'white ring on the toolbox decal is a stray hair....
20240506_154356_HDR.jpg
Box decals added...
20240506_154403_HDR.jpg
All details picked out in Red and Yellow...
20240506_155927_HDR.jpg
Barrel or tube as our cousins across the water call it...
20240506_142718_HDR.jpg
And the tracks are finished, just removing the masking tape 320 little squares 2.5 x 2.5..... The 'flat' track pads shown on the top set are going to be on the ground. The detail was removed so that the track would look as if there was some weight on the track.
A word about the decals - for an AFV Club kit, I would say dismal, could do better....
And that is it for today
Cheers
Mike.
