Scale Model Shop

Lee's Rocket/Missile GB, Oct - Dec 2024 Welcome and chat

You got that right but some how I’m attracted to them lol.

Yeah but the temptation seems to always rules out. I’ve done it may times.

I hate when that happens and you really want the Resin but you say to yourself are you crazy it’s more than the model price.

Oh he’ll put a good spin on it for sure he never disappoints.

Dang Steve those look awesome! Don’t break the bank or get in trouble with the wife on my account Lol. I’m glad you are excited about this GB. I know it’s a wide target for Subjects but the bigger the target the more than likely you will hit it. Take your time picking your victim.

Me too Andy but the third one look interesting also.

Your safe! I always thought these were kinda considered a “Rocket” I have something like that in mind too but launched from a German Aircraft. So I’m giving you a big fat YES. I thought the time frame was good too everyone will be done with the current GBs and if they not too exhaust they might join in and have something to do at the start of winter.

P.S. just done a quick research on it the V1 was a Cruise Missle so was the V-2 that’s the take away I got from Wikipedia. So go for it.

Sure will Steve. Very old lol and should be very interesting.

He does that from time to time doesn’t he.
:surprised:

Says the guy who likes to jump out of a perfectly functioning aircraft lol
Tut ,tut ... they are not - I say again not, perfectly functioning aircraft (see earlier comments in a similar vein that disproves this Cancerian heresy!)
Steve

I think I've decided on mine now, that Meng Smerch just has something cool about it, it's ugly as hell but there's something that interests me, so I think that will be my kit for this GB!

Not bought it yet but will when the time gets closer!

Count me in. I got a kit that I built once and really enjoyed my first bit of scratchery. Just to confirm I really am an old fart - that was 60 years ago!

Hard to find with any UK seller so bought direct from the country of manufacture - Ukraine. Total cost was £17.74 incl postage which is roughly 2/3rds the UK cost. Ordered on 10/6/24 and delivered today. Tracking was superb and it was really well packaged.

That’s good to know about the shipping Jim. Nice subject when we get closer I’ll start adding your Subjects to your name in case people like me change there mind several times lol.

Okay, I've now decided on the kit I'll be building for this and my order for one has gone in. Have gone for this because it's weird and I like weird.
also I've never done a Trumpeter kit so now is the time. (yes I'm aware it has the dreaded PE but only 7-8 parts and they don't seem too tiny)

Certainly an unusual subject Steve. Being Trumpeter there won't be a shortage of very small, fiddly parts :smiling3:

So this is my entry sorted. I will probably go with the Terracruzer and MACE missile first and then if i have time finish up with the Jeep.
