Lee's Rocket/Missile GB, Oct - Dec 2024 Welcome and chat

Love the Renwal kit, Steve and what a flashback in time!!! I'm still going to go with my V1 kit, but,

...a rocket launching rowboat?
Paul's idea was also way too cool!!! I did a mock-up and if it wasn't already mostly built, I would have added it as my second build for the GB,

I’ve been thinking (off and on) about what to build for this, and I suddenly remembered that last autumn, I purchased this Resicast kit:

A Canadian Land Mattress multiple rocket launcher.

The very first combat use of this was bombarding a German coastal battery not 10 km from where I live, which is why I bought it. This group build might be a good opportunity to actually put it together :)

Supply problems and price have put me off my original idea of Congreve rocket and crew so, as I already have this in my stash, this will be my offering! It's Dragon's 1/35 SdKfz 251/1 Ausf D mit 28/32 cm Wurfrahmen 40. I Intend to place it in a small diorama - composition undecided yet! Still can't sort orientation, sorry :anguished:

Would a TOR AA system be acceptable? You can't actually see any rockets/missiles, they are

fully covered!

That’s Awesome Dude I. But your going to have to get that into kit forum some how before I let you in with it. But subject is acceptable lol.

I said I was going for the old Airfix Bloodhound. Well PJ managed to get hold of one at Coventry on Sunday, so we'll be doing our own mini GB!

Hi Lee been popping in and out interested to see what was being nominated and as it didn't start till October have left it bobbing about in the background, I've two or three candidates but couldn't decide then whilst rooting through the stash found this

That will work looks good

Today I put in my order for the kit for this GB. Will show an image of it when it arrives but I'll leave the box sealed.

Very excited for this because it's not an aircraft haha!

Sounds great Steve glad you excited about the build. You can open it and open the sprue bags also to take a look at it. You have to have sprue shots away might as well open it.

Sorry Lee, have several things in line.
I've done the BM 824 before, great build.
