It's me still going

Yes a question for shippy builders?

Now the headaches are much better I am preparing the numerous small bits on the German destroyer for priming/ painting.

I have assembled the ships boats but how the hell do you paint them. Blue tack stuck down on a lollipop stick or I have heard some drill a hole in the hull and insert a cocktail stick, but you have to fill the hole in after etc

Can anybody advise, I feel a headache coming, bugger

Paint hull, let dry, mount, paint cabin/interior?

See bob PaulE has it all worked out just follow what he said an he anit even a shippy

I would do what Paul advises, and when the hull is dry stick it to a blob of blue tack to paint the upper surfaces.

I normally do either. If I do the drill and pin one, I use a bit of stretched sprue glue it in and when done clip off and a dot of paint. It's just a good idea to place it a hard to see position.

I think my 3rd kit about 70 years ago was an Attack ship with a bunch of landing craft. I did a much better job with it than the WWII aircraft carrier that was my 2nd kit. My 1st was a B29 that I made a mess of. It put me off aircraft.
