    Infinity CR Plus Problem

This is an issue I most often get when i have very thin paints in the cup. I too found that the most common cause was I didn't tighten the nozzle enough.

"Come on Big D, fly" The Hunt for Red October.

What a great idea for a tribute. Ron did like a drop of the wet stuff. He was the master of water dio's as well.

A couple of Birthday pressies: From the good lady. and this from a cash gift from the sister in law. As I have built a few ICM kits in the past, I bought the xtradecals set for this one and due to the acers of glass, the Eduard masks for them.

Tamiya, what have you done this time?

Sod that for a game of soldiers! Better to do the build up in rings ones. Is it Das Værk that has those. 100% no seams.

Masking fluid, how to remove from brush?

xylene will remove anything. Its not nice stuff but works on pretty much any and everything. The best though is to wash the brush i warm soapy water while the masking fluid is still wet.

    Andy's Spitfire trio - 90th Anniversary GB

For a self confessed "I don't normally do aircraft" you most certainly hit this project out of the ball park! Most excellent. The usual pro paint job on all three. A big three times thumbs up from me. Now... when are you adding the 32 and 24 scale to finish the set lol.

Colin M's Spitfire PR XIX Airfix 1:48

That's a cracking good build. The Spitfire does look good in PR paint. Nowt wrong with being arty mate. The blue back ground suits the colour of the aircraft very well.

Pauls Spitfire Mk XIVc...... 90th aniv of spitfire GB

Well that turned out pretty good. As others have said, the field maintenance was good but they were mechanics not painters. As long as the holes were patched and the bare metal covered in 'about the right colour' it was good enough. lol. I think you have made a very honest model of a serving...

Ian M's 1/48 Airfix, mk. 46 Seafire the 90th anniversary GB

Correct. The 46 had a shorter 'normal' air scoop for the supercharger whilst the 47 had the full length 'chin' that went right to the front of the fuselage. That, by the way, was deemed less efficient than the shorter standard intake. Also the 46 did not have folding wings, and was...... drum...

If you were following the build here; Ian M's Seafire fr46/47. Airfix 1/48. you can see the result here. The kit was a nice build, not that new a tooling but it went together well. Paint is from AK real colour Lacquers. , the ones in the stupid bottles. Still great paint though. Enough waffle...

Eduard overtrees, am I in the minority?

I believe the idea arose as a solution to a boxing often has more than one scheme and decals. By selling the over trees: Literally the over production. you could make all the versions of one release at a favorable price.
