    Name It Plates

I have used Name It for quite a number of name plates. Reasonably priced and very good professional look about them. Plus excellent service to replace an item with an error !

1985 UK car park (1/43 scale)

Interesting project. Those Vanguard models are quite nice. Must find one of their Lotus Cortina Mk2 models to rework as a car I once owned. The Allegro also reminded me of a white metal kit by Somerville from way back.

Scratchbuilt 12th scale model of a OK Pie Cart

Yet another lovely model of an unusual subject. Working in mainly wood and obtaining the detail, finish, lining and lettering is admirable.o

Even older cats have manic runs around the house every now and again ! it just happens suddenly.

    AMT 1/25 1950 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup

Very nice model of an American commercial. A relief to see something for a change that has not been customised.

    Nick's Heller 1/24 Renault 8 Gordini - Mr Bowcat's Racers GB

Really nice Renault model. I had a Simca 1000 back in the sixties. Lovely little motor with a similar 'boxy' body style.

    Jim R's 1905 Rolls Royce

    Very nice Rolls Royce model.

Mercedes 170V delivery van, Heller, 1/24 scale

Nice to see a vintage commercial model as a bit of a change from the usual supercars, rally cars etc.

    Latest Acquisitions (2026)

I like cats too having had some as pets myself in the past. Don't you just love them ? Lovely, cuddly, affectionate (when they want to be), top of the tree garden predators. As far as mice are concerned, they still need convincing that black cats are considered lucky ! Lol.

Vent: I made a model plane that was really crap

Been modelling since back in the 70's. Been there, done that and got the Tee shirt ! Trouble is every now and again I still get the Tee shirt ! Lol.

Hasegawa 1/24 Suzuki Jimny w/Camp Girl's Figure Limited Edition (52301)

Nice model Dave. I used to travel to Gozo and Malta frequently. The Suzuki jeep version is very popular over there. Absolutely ideal for the many narrow roads and streets on the islands.

    Airfix 1/24 MGB (07401)

Thought that might be the case Dave. Superb build none the less !

Airfix 1/32 Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite Mk I (02421)

Really good build and finish from that elderly Airfix car kit Dave. The advent of new finishing materials these days is a real bonus. Especially on old car kits with no plated parts. You have given the model a real lift by using it.

    Airfix 1/24 MGB (07401)

Very nice model build Dave. The ground clearance looks a bit high, more like for the rubber bumper version. Maybe Aoshima did that version too and left it as is for both ?

    VW T25 935 - more silliness

    Nice one Jabba !

    Jägermeister Escort MK2

Very nice model in the Jagermeister livery. That old Esci/Italeri kit has been around a long time now and showing its age. The OP has done well with this build ! Would be nice to see a brand new kit from someone.

    Ford Model T 1/16th scale --- modified.

Love it ! Love it! Love it ! Fascinating to see vintage commercials being modelled. Really interesting conversion. Lots of character about it.

    Heller Citroen Fourgon HY build

There was one at Telford a few years back in one of the show halls operating as catering van.
