A great idea and very well executed.

    Storm Austen

Not nearly as bad as forecast here in Shropshire. Very wet but wind not too bad. Having lived for 11 years on the Outer Hebrides I truly understand gales!

Aliens M577 Armoured Personnel Carrier 1/35

That looks good. Considering the low parts count it looks to have some decent detail.

    Neil's 1-35 Liberty Ship Diorama

Another example of your attention to detail, your inventive scratching skills and your patience to get this dio accurate. Superb work.

Found this link, YT, some great models on show....

So many simply stunning models. So many different genres. I think what impressed me most was the quality of the figures in the dios, quite superb. Am I inspired - most certainly. Thanks for the link.

Choosing a kit from your childhood

Strangely enough I'm probably one of the few members on here who didn't build kits as a child. The first kit I built was in 2010, a Tamiya 1/35 jeep.

Lee Drennen’s 1/48 Monogram 1968 Mark IX Spitfire Defender of Britain

I always feel that the end is in sight when its time for decals. Mind you I worry slightly about how decals behave. Sometimes they just go on beautifully and at other times they split when you so much as look at them or they just sit there all stiff.

    1/35 T34/76 by TAMIYA 35049 1942 production with metal tracks !

Glad things are sorted enough to let you get back to modelling. I'm front and centre for a new JR dio.

    USS Buckley 1/700 Pitroad kit

Looking good. Interesting to see you using Polyfilla. Do you just mix it with water or do you add PVA? Does it crack as it dries?

The worst buy, what is your

A while ago we had a GB for non styrene models. My entry was without doubt the biggest load of %$£"£$"+! Although I did complete it I won't be buying a TP Model kit again :)

How to paint "white metal" figures?

I read your first post Peter and had a total sense of deja-vu. Almost exactly the same thing happened to me a few years ago - 1/35 and only one figure. I asked the forum for help, just like you, and I'm sure it was Tim who came up trumps. The figure came out quite well. Have fun with yours.

    What did I agree too!

You're making good progress. Seems to be going together ok. Masking looks neat to me.

Quality bodging that's for sure. Good news about the motor. Carry on bodging 😄

    'You Miscalculated'

That's brilliant. As others have said the driver is priceless.

BOATMANS USS ENTERPRIE CVN 65 in 1/350 SCALE WITH LIGHTS

This is massive. Over a metre long! It will look stunning all lit up. Bet you're not looking forward to all those tiny planes.
