    Personal issues

Almost, but not impossible. I threw my last Smartphone away back in 2019 and I've not owned once since - can't stand the things. But that's by the by, having anything stolen absolutely sucks and I feel for you. I had my car broken into about 8 years ago now and I still miss my scabby, crappy old...

Si B’s 1/35 Tamiya Panzer II (Tamiya GB)

    A great little kit this.

Rich's V1 Flying Bomb (Doodlebug) Tamiya GB

Cool little subject. I remember the stories my M in Law told me about these things, when she was a child living in Gosport during the war. There is a hole in the line of terraced houses she grew up in, where the missing house was taken out by a V-1 but left the house either side still standing.

    Peter's German Half Track - 1:48 - Mtl.SPW.Sd.Kfz 251/1 Ausf.D

interesting challenge just using the paint pens - it'll be interesting to see how you get on - they looked like they were useful for painting the camo uniforms though, I might have to pinch that idea - what colours did you use? It's all looking excellent!

    Nick's 1/12 Honda CB1000F - Tamiya GB 2026

niccceeeeeeeeeeeee! I love old Honda CB's, in fact I think my Dad had a 750. Looking forward to seeing this and a really good start!

    Darian's 1/48 F-14A Tomcat

Welcome aboard - I hope it's worth it. I skipped all my empties out of the lair today, and got everything set up - first off I'll get the cockpit painting finished. I built that old Airfix kit too years ago - not bad really considering it's age.

Ghosts of a modelling past - well it is nearly Halloween!

I always found FROG decals to be very well behaved.

Cheers Deadpool, and I love the Avatar and handle by the way!

    Pauls Suzuki Katana...... Tamiya GB

A very nice choice. I'm not a biker myself but there's something about a build of one of these large scale bike kits that's fascinating to watch. The detail in them in usually excellent.

    Joe's Tamiya 1/72 DH Mosquito FB.VI

Looking forward to seeing how this compares to the 1/48th kit also in the GB!

A bit late to the welcome party but I just wanted to say how great your builds look - they show a lot of imagination. The DeLorean is superb and I really like that flying Spitfire.

    Mike's Panther - Tamiya build November 2026

Nice - I do like a Panther and the turret looks great. I know what you mean by the colour call outs, I had the same issue with a Tamiya Tiger I built in the past - but you work through it easily enough. I bought a Hataka paint set in the end and that sorted it out.

Chris' Tamiya 1/24 Campus Friends II

That's a brilliant subject. One of the things I love about Tamiya is how off the wall they can be sometimes.

    Darian's 1/48 F-14A Tomcat

Paul was kind enough to let me enter with this slightly started Tomcat kit... I bought it when they first came out (about 10 years ago now?) and it's one of these kits I've fiddled with over the years, pulled it out of the stash, looked at it, put it away again etc - you know how it is. I...

    Geoff’s Tamiya 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito B Mk.IV / PRMk.IV.

Really nice - that Mosquito is a cracking looking aircraft and either scheme sounds good. I've never actually seen this kit built up so it'll be interesting to see.
