Pledge, still used for canopies?
The big thing it had going for it was that it was hard wearing. I believe Johnson’s discontinued it, and all the variants, some of which were identical to the so called “original” formula, a few years ago anyway. Comes down to it, how shiny are Perspex canopies anyway when seen “in the round”?- Tim Marlow

Personally I’ve never got on with pledge. I use Tamiya polishing compounds to give them a glass like shine. I do the same on car windscreens on the rare occasion I build them. Large collection there 👍. We used to have a few, including a fridge magnet poetry set I got for my daughter (who promptly turned it into a picture of a cat) when she was young, but after we moved our fridge is now integrated into the units so they’d need to be wood magnets…- Tim Marlow

I put a scrap of blue tack in mine, or just use blue tack on a wood cocktail stick instead of tweezers. The problem I find with tweezers is that it seems logical to squeeze them harder to get better grip, but that doesn’t work.
