    Despite my best efforts, dust and tiny hairs usually make a appearance and always after painting! Can you get a airblowing gun, like the ones I used on trucks to blow dust etc off components etc. Or can a airbrush produce enough air pressure to blow the stuff off??

    Primed and top coated the lower superstructure and deck fittings prior to the wood deck and then used VMS cleaner and etch primer before spraying the pe with mr surfacer. Next a new experience, brush painting the pe decks. Have AK wood deck paint, so using that All the turrets, funnel and...

    I think a bargain, 4 mahogany plinths. 20 x 10 cm, £4.50 each. Just need a light sand and stain. Ideal for pedestals to display a ship Saw by accident on Facebook, tamiya do plastic sheet with masking tape, ideal for ships hulls, especially 1 / 200. Plus VMS liquid mask

    Many thanks sir Well doing the basic calculations of adding my teachers pension to the state, deducting the tax allowance, then taking off 20% tax the remains . I should be about £800 a month better off?? I'll know in less than a yr!

    Hull done and lower superstructure primed and top coated in laquer, so next is attempt at brush painting front / wood deck ( Pe ) and the middle metal deck. Going to use acrylics. Never brush painted this big a area apart from the house of course. Bit too small for my Wickes roller lol
