Veterans Railcard
Just been told about the 'Veterans Rail card' by somebody who works with Mrs L, so I thought I'd have a look to see what it's all about, Apparently you get 1/3 off train tickets, for £30 per year, so given that we have a few trips to Kent planned and a trip to Edinburgh for our 10th wedding... -

smoke grenade covers
Guys, In an attempt to move my Abrams build along a tad I was wondering how to make covers for the smoke grenade launchers fitted to the side of the turret, what do you normally use, I've tried a couple of time to have a go but they just don't look 'right'. pics would help if you have any.. thx- langy71

Veteran ID card
Maybe this may be useful to some of you old Vets on here, A while ago the governement announced it was going to start producing an actual Veterans ID card, I'm guessing it helps to put a stop to 'stolen honour' which any Vet will know is when a 'fantasist' ot 'walt' takes glory in claiming... -

Funny you say that Michael, I thought the colour looks 'washed out' on the pics, so I had a play with the brightness, and got it to look more like it does on th bench.- langy71

Been plodding along with this for the last two/three months, Nothing much to say other than it's a brilliantly designed kit, there are various options for differing versions, goes together quite easily but you've gotta follow the instructions, all four sections of them, as the build sequence...- langy71
