Rick's Tamiya 1/48 T-55 Russian medium tank
Just finished this. Out of the box using Tamiya paints and Mig weathering powders. It’s a very easy kit to build with just one decal option.- rickoshea52

What flew over your house (yesterday)
Wandering round a garden centre today I looked up to see a Fairey Swordfish above. Later I watched a Poseidon MRA1 fly low and fast, 500ft, 250kts along the Liverpool waterfront.- rickoshea52

A little detour on my way back from Solihull today via Widnes Model Centre and had to add these. I didn’t want to pay £55-ish for a 1/48 Il-28 so when I peeked inside the box of the 1/100 version it is surprisingly big(ish). Don’t forget the green tinted windows above the pilots. I used Tamiya clear green on the inside so you get the shiny clear finish on the outside. A tip for the landing gear - there is a circular recess the leg sits in and pivots on (called trunnions on the real thing). Leave the gears off until...- rickoshea52
