    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

It is looking like you have tamed it - or at least well on the way to doing so. It’s going to be a good size as well.

    Geoff’s 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Story - Spitfire Mk.I build.

Good recovery job and a very nice example (I’ve got stand envy though).

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

I think we must have been way more forgiving of bad fit when we did these as kids!

You’ll be getting ‘missing you’ cards from the courier if you ever take a 2 week break!

    Russian T26 Tank - Revell - 1:35 - (WOT's version)

I’d get more modelling done if it wasn’t for that too :) even less in July when I get pre-ordered AC Black Flag🏴‍☠️

    Tamiya Fireblade

screwdriver and screws? like a meccano and model all in one, what’s not to like! my older brother got meccano, I got a railway set (no idea why, never liked trains), my younger brother had action man and my sister the dolls - so I always nicked the meccano - and made models.

    Advice from aircraft builders needed.

TBH, I’m a lazy ‘advanced beginner’ - so I know what I should do, but I am too lazy half the time to do it  With a small aircraft in 1/72 I’m happy to just paint the outer colour, especially in flight as you will not see the interior when it is on a shelf. That said, with the A10, it is...

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

it does doesn’t it, they should have had a black one, matt black, very dulled down markings and a big sharks mouth - it would look the dogs dangly bits! Hmm, maybe, when I have made some reductions to the stash (so in about 5 years time  ),it sounds like an interesting idea - all black A10...

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

    Toyota 86 pretty derby

The decals are very neat for what looks like a challenging set to line up and across those curved lines.

    3d printed Monocycle Speeder

That’s impressive for such a quick project - tbh I’d be worried about cutting the wrong piece out.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

One minor problem, one of the tiny mirrors that is inside the front part of the cockpit flew off, pretty sure it was on my desk but I can’t find it. Oh well, I’ll hunt again but may just need to forget it.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

And the cockpit surrounds in the same pale grey as the interior, I’ll obviously spray these with the right main colour when ready.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

Primed the munitions pylons too - as most of the munitions are white, I’ll prime them in grey or white.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

Primed now. As the main colours are grey, grey and grey I went with a black primer so I can see when the primer is covered.

Vent: I made a model plane that was really crap

Somewhere there is a thread of mine on a Revell Bell UH-1 - absolute pants of a kit. I binned it and moved on. I also have a little airfix 1/72 spitfire which was fine until I lost the whole transparency fret - now I use it as a test for airbrushing. At the end of the day, it’s just a model...

I went to the model shop to get some CA…. but somehow, some extras fell in the basket rods for in-flight models And this for the US Icons GB I am a ‘bad man’ apparently. Sigh.

    All done

Well hope the recovery is speedy as well and you’ll be back to fighting fit soon.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

Oh yeah, I’m thinking of getting a lightbox for pics and this will not fit a 30x30cm - need to get 40x40 to fit this in.
