What's on the Bench 2025
Not that exciting but I did some compressor maintenance (rusty water etc) I'm using a compressor from the DIY store that lives in the closet, and I use this setup with a gauge, aquarium hoses and small water taps. Latest Acquisitions (2026)
This book arrived today from the USA. Couldn't find the 2008 edition closer to home. I have a few of this series, they are light and contain lot's of images so great for on the train to work. -

Thanks Joe, Last week I added a panel wash, started with a Dark Gray (Tamiya) but ended up using a black wash. For the cowling I tried white oil paint. Items you have bought and at the time thought they were a good idea - but never used.
I bought a large box of 'AK weathering pencils' a few years ago, but since I only use waterbased paints and varnish, the idea that they'll smudge after a coat of varnish I never used them... -
