    All done

Glad all is well with you now John, We here all pray for your continued well being. My Colleen has been diagnosed with type two diabetes and is on the proper meds but it is no picnic as she still has not quite assimilated to the treatments. I give her all the support I can and hopefully her...

    1/35 TAMIYA StuG 1V

Great model John, don't bother too much over the tracks, the skirting will cover the top half so track sag won't be a problem with the vinyl serpents as it is for most. I myself have developed a system of sagation ( is that even a word?) With those pesky snakes whether it be wrecks or T34s or...

    back to work

I've only retired...hmmmm...let's see, about ten times now, when you are the founder of a family business there is no such thing as retirement, only short breaks. We've been in the logging and firewood business for 30 some odd years now, me and my two boys. A more dangerous and yet strangely...

How long to make a standard model??

I usually have a very strict timeline, anywhere from three days to three years....strictly speaking of course. Jim.

    LAV 25

Built for the cold war era, it was designed for fast moving hit and run and recon operations being fully amphibious for the fording of the many rivers and canals of the European plains. When the Middle East became the main theater of operations it proved to vulnerable to IEDs and mines. Up...

    Dust.

I agree, if the weather is permitting I take them out on the deck to dust them off but in winter I hover the vacuum carefully over head to catch the dust so it does not go about the house. Be careful though and check with a tweezers for anything that may have come loose or you might hear that...

    I cant paint very good

Helo, Painting is something you just have to dive into and practice. Depending on what type of models you build can determine what technique works best for you. I myself build mostly armor so painting does not have to be a pristine affair as it would be in autos or aircraft. You also might want...

    The Savage Ost Front

Thanks Paul Sorry about the repeats, I must have hit that multiple thing without realising it. I'm more careful now. I've got to finish the dio I'm on now, it's a real doozy, since Spring has sprung there's lots to do but I'll get er done soon enough. Jim.

    Scary Moments

The basement is off limits to her and not by my choice, she has a phobia about going below ground level :sneaky:

    Pushy Cat

Thanks Joe, I have made some military vehicles converted to civilian use but no real civilian vehicles. Some whacky halftrack conversions on the way. Maybe I'll look into getting a civilian farm tractor or something similar. Jim.

    M32 tank recovery vehicle

Thanks guys, she's an oldie but goodie, built around 30 or so years ago.

    Pushy Cat

Thanks Rick, actually to my surprise only a few basic hydraulic lines were included, the steel cylinder lines were scratch and all engine fuel, water and oil lines were also scratched up. Jim.

    M32 tank recovery vehicle

The famous M32 operated in every theater in WWII, Korea and has been imported to many countries. Some are even in operation today.

    Behemoth

A continuation of previous post that for some reason like me hitting the wrong key was cut short.😖 Anyway, my point was that we all should be vigilant against such flights of fantasy by our so called leaders and never allow ourselves to be led into such nation wrecking tragedies. Whether it be...

    Behemoth

Thanks guys, yes it does look menacing and yes the pillbox mentality was in play. But the irony of it all was the fact that even though the German penchant for logical practicality and engineering excellence was thrown out the window when it came to Hitler's dilusional aspirations is an enigma...
