    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Excellent start joe , you cant get any more iconic USA than the Thunderbirds can you! This looks a really nicely detailed kit and being academy should fit well too , loving the tinted canopy as well . Decalling is going to take as long as building on this one , cheers tony

Tamiya SAS Jeep 1/35 finished pics

Heres the venerable Tamiya SAS Jeep in 1/35 , a kit from back in the day (1974 ) but still very buildable . Had to replace the figures with resin ones though as the kit ones were surprisingly poor.

Well I’m calling the figures done , heads and arm are now stuck on and theyre in the Jeep. The passenger figure is posed as if hes holding a map and the driver is pointing something out - thing is there's no map supplied with the figures so i cut out a piece of the instruction ,drew a rough...

Bit more done on the figures today . The bodies have had a dark shading roughly applied and I’ll drybrush the lighter colour later on . With the help of the homemade wet palette I got the faces as good as I can manage , just a bit of shading to be done on the tea towel head thingy ( somebody...

    Gern's Battlefront Miniatures Sherman M4A1

Nice one dave , i have a penchant for diddy armour like this , in fact only the other day I was thinking about the old matchbox 1:76 stuff with the little dio bases . I thought I wouldn't mind doing another LRDG Chevrolet , then looked on Ebay and found they are going for mental prices !

    Tamiya SAS jeep 1/35

After Marks timely reminder I’ve managed to add ten handles to the jerry cans , the three on the bonnet luckily not being seen . The actual Jeep is done now apart from adding the machine guns and steering wheel , which will be done after the figures are fitted . Speaking of the figures , they...
