Latest Acquisitions (2026)

Thanks for that kind Sir, I have only done the first couple of steps so far. Its a pita to have to have the driver built and painted so early on though. Same with the wheels and track ..... if you are priming and final coating the bottom half ..... how do you do that unless the wheels are done...- toto

Not exactly latest aquisitions as I rescued these from the attic as I was making space for other household items at the request of SWMBO. be prepared to be blinded with a few piccies ..... no introductions needed on these as the boxes say it all. I forgot I already had the Achilles... -

OK ..... failed miserably today ..... zero progress ..... domestic duties took priority .... can't grumble really as I have a very understandable missus .... unfortunately its now next weekend. I'll get a start made om another kit through the week but apart from that ..... nowt much else...- toto

Tamiya Simca 5 Staff Car
Ok ...... taken a little time tonight to due a couple of last minutes tasks on the Simca 5 prior to giving it a coat of primer. I decided to fix the doors on prior to painting as to be honest, it does not make painting that much harder. the before ..... and after. I also cut the seats...- toto

I shall perceivere for now. Another option would be to make one in balsa wood. possible I would think. Anyway .... here is where I am at for the minute. some brick wall sections complete. There are two that are broken but when put together ..... its impossible to see the join ..... so they...- toto

Casting going well. Justfinished offthe last of the cobble casts for now. I will be going on to do more brick wall casts shortly. Tried casting some of the very small and fragile road drains ....... no chance ...... absolute disaster and personally I think, possibly, a waste of money. I will...- toto

OK ..... I have been merrily boosting production of my grey cobbles ...... but earlier on ..... I was reintroducing myself to my brickwork wall moulds. here are some results .... it took a couple of casts to get back into them and get the plaster water ratio correct ..... but I got there...- toto
