Another victim for my " Pushing Back " WW2 diorama build ....

P1010728.webp

looks relatively straight forward ..... the intension being to build into sub-assemblies prior to painting, final build then weathering etc ..... we see how it goes ...

P1010729.webp

The usual destructions .....

P1010730.webp

rubber tracks ....

P1010732.webp

sheet of decals .....

P1010731.webp

and the first of the sprues .....

P1010733.webp

and more including the bottom of the hull etc ....

P1010734.webp

Body sides, wheels and stuff .....

P1010735.webp

and a couple of figures ..... not a huge counts part by any means ...... even I could maybe manage this .....

cheers

Well, the dust has been blown off the box .... 😂

I'm back up in Dounreay and can't access my Pushing Back diorama or my priming paints etc ( don't want to use paints in my accomodation ..... just asking for trouble ).

So decided to crack open this kit for something to do. I intend to attack thisthe same way as my Pak 40 and my Simca 5 ..... and my Kublewagon. Buildinto subsections and prime /paint in sections prior to final assembly.

I will probably have 4 or 5 kits to prime at once so itsworth the setting up and cleaning and putting away operation with the air brush and painting booth.

I need to remove my diorama into my kitchen ( on top of the dogs cage ) in order to clear sufficient space to set up for either painting or plaster casting.

Thereare certain spaces in the mancave that I just wont use for wet rasks like next to my PC set up or editing / photography equipment. I will have dedicated space for this once my RC planes are either sold or rehomed.

Anyway .... more on that later.

I will take a few photos along the way as usual and post up. I only have my works laptop with me this week so it could be Friday before I post up this weeks progress.

Cheers for now

If its the same kit I had, and you want the driver in position, you have to get him in position before attaching the main front bulkhead, otherwise you can't get him in afterwards, just something to think about....(y);)
