Morning chaps. :) I got the last of the PE bent to shape and fitted last night, this was mainly just the clamps for the tow cables. With these installed I was also able to get the mudguards & fenders fitted, which are precariously stuck in place with CA. I wonder how many times I will knock...- Mr Bowcat

Cheers guys. Started some of the PE over the weekend, brackets for the jack, jacking blocks, etc. Also removed the sprocket guards and glued the upper hull to the lower. Morning guys, Decals are now on, luckily this isn't a modern jet so there weren't too many. Surprisingly for this kit the decals were pretty good, very thin with minimal carrier film. Morning guys. :) The wing fun continues. I now have them attached to the airframe, but as expected they were an awful fit. I managed to get them tacked on, but the cross section of the wings is smaller than that of the wing roots, so plenty of filler was needed. There's a step either side...- Mr Bowcat

Thanks Joe. :) I got to work on the gear bay over the weekend. This is provided in resin and involves removing a large resin block on the bay roof. It needs to be thinned enough to fit in under the cockpit, but without breaking through the roof. This involved careful filing and sanding, holding...- Mr Bowcat

Morning Chaps. :) Finally back under way with this build. Never did receive the Sutton harness from RB (in fact PayPal reclaim now started) so I got a HGW set instead. This has now been installed in the seat, and the seat in the cockpit.- Mr Bowcat

Afternoon guys. :) Work continues on the cockpit with the side walls, seat and rear armour. Fly provides a featureless flat piece of PE for the head armour, so I discarded that and attempted to make by own.
