    Best material for base board on a diorama?

    Peter, I use off the shelf picture frames for most of my bases. After removing the glass I use the hardboard sheet in the frame and stick the foam board to this, one it stops the warping and you get an exact fit in the frame.

    Hello mate looking good. Just for info, in service these vehicles had a thin white line across the centre of the hub on each wheel that all pointed in the same direction. This was due to transmission wind up the driver could spot this when the white lines stopped lining up.

    I wanted to have the bonnet side off so the engine can be seen, the kit panel is moulded in one part but the actual panel is two pieces and has a piece fitted to the bodywork with the locking catches so I had to make one. The long groove used to locate the panel had to be filled as well. The...
