What are your model related plans, hopes, resolutions, if any, for the new year? Just two or three things you would like to achieve. I'll start the ball rolling with mine. No1 -I must try not to procrastinate - lovely word that. In my case it means stop over thinking things and get on and do... -
A question for the knowledgeable please.
"What are the two item hanging off the left and right rear?" Wheel chocks of some sort is my only guess! So many knowledgeable folk on this forum that I'm sure someone will have the answer. Thanks -

Thanks Steve I've been arranging the stuff on the tables. The kit instructions had both tables looking identical which seemed a bit false to me . I painted the roses and arranged things differently.- Jim R

Thanks Steven Next step was to assemble the two cafe tables. The wooden parts were a bit multicoloured and so 1 airbrushed them to even up the finish. The table cloths were peel off stickers. The markings on the top are to position the stuff which goes on the tables. The problem is that...- Jim R

The next door shop has been completed. Still a level to go above the shops. It's a fun kit but takes time as I'm sanding all the burned edges, from the laser cutting, and then painting all the edges that show.- Jim R

The book shop is completed. This is a really fun kit. Although the instructions say that glue is not needed I have used PVA on a lot of the joints. Shop interior Shop exterior Altogether- Jim R

I've seen a few of these Book Nook kits built and been quite impressed. Currently Pete is building the Magic Wand Shop and he's making a great job of it. Just to show this has not been forgotten. I've been doing the odd bit now and again. Mostly loads of very tiny bits painted grey! Main guns are done. I'll update when there is something worth seeing :D- Jim R

Latest Acquisitions (2025)
Not a very exciting purchase but much needed. Replacement head band liners for my Optivisor. The padded, leather band at the front of the plastic headband gets perished and a bit sticky after time and becomes uncomfortable. Probably sweat on the forehead from the stress of trying to cope with... -

Jim R's Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane (Battle of Britain GB)
This is the Hurricane flown by F/Lt Jaroslav Maly. After a mid air collision Maly made a forced landing in a field near RAF Fowlmere at the end of October 1940. He was injured and survived but was not able to fly again. His Hurricane was recovered and repaired. This photo was the...- Jim R
