4WD GB idea

Good idea. I have something suitable gathering dust at the bottom of the pile. So count me in. November 1st start sounds right.

How many is that? Sounds like this will be going ahead 👍

Nick

I think Paul needs to do a list of definites and maybes so we can get an accurate count.

I’ve got a 4x4 something being delivered soon so I’m in (if it goes ahead) 😊

Could someone with 'the power' please change the title of this thread to 'rules, regs and chat thread'

Could they also create the subforum in the 2025 GB section and move this thread to it

Ta muchly :)

1.......GB will run November 1st to January 31st 2026

2.......subject is 4 wheeled vehicles where all 4 wheels have power/drive

3.......military wise this can cover jeeps to armoured cars to trucks etc

Civilian wise its road cars, rally cars, race cars..... Theres even Le Mans type cars which are hybrids but all 4 wheels are driven by electric motors

4......at the appropriate time start your build thread in the to be created sub forum...... Pics of sprues and boxart is required

5.......finished articles post in the usual way

6.........most importantly....... Have fun!!!

Ask any questions here...... Chat away....... Everyone happy?

Happy? Yes, it sounds good Paul, I’m looking forward to trying something different to my usual aircraft builds.

Still going to have an RAF theme though as this is my intended build.

I’m pretty sure it’s 4 wheel drive so hope it’s suitable.

Well this one is 8 axle, 16 wheel drive, so would this be eligible?
Are we just sticking to a max of four wheels?
Cheers

Yep, kit, paint and extras are sitting there waiting for me to start. :)

Just a further bump, any chance of getting the sub-forum created? Please, pretty please. 😂

We only have a couple of days to go and 'the powers that be' havnt made the sub forum for this GB so can i make a suggestion....... If everyone puts their build thread in the usual place as if the sub forum has been made then when someone does make it all the build threads will be together for them to move

Try contacting ProScale Paints, tell them the year, manufacturer, colour name and identifier number if possible and they will mix it at no extra cost - I use alot of their products and love them.
