Brush conditioning fluid, is it worth bothering?
Depends what you are cleaning off. Best stuff for cleaning brushes (especially acrylics) in my opinion is Masters brush cleaner. This stuff….it is what it’s formulated to do. I get literally years out of my brushes, and this stuff certainly helps. I would clean using thinners, rinse, then larger...- Tim Marlow

Stinky Glue and my solution (hopefully)
Hi guys. If you are looking to control this issue here is the regime you should follow… PPE should be your last resort. A respirator that is designed for paint fumes may not actually be suitable for protection against glue fumes. LeytonO’s idea of extracting the fumes is the better...- Tim Marlow

What flew over your house (yesterday)
Busy afternoon in North Brewham….weve had this… ……and this….. Fly over several times. The A400 was at 750 ft…..and we are at 450 ft….so it was pretty noisy…..had to look for the 767 with Bono’s though, he was a couple of miles up….but still clearly audible. What do YOU apply filler with,??
For ninety odd percent of my filling work I use an old Xacto knife with number ten curved blade. This type of handle…… With this blade……. I’ve sanded the sharp bit smooth so it’s unable to cut into the model. I also use a small spatula like this for filler where needed. It’s also great...- Tim Marlow

Jakko’s Sherman BARV
Agreed ref 6pdr recuperator Jakko. I’ve had a good look this morning and the front end with the toggle bolts is the same as late mark 6pdrs. The breech end has been modified though. No Chris…..this is when we had a navy….. 18 miles of warships for King George‘s review 1914…..60 battleships and battle cruisers, about the same in cruisers of all types, 80 or so destroyers and numerous smaller ships….a real sight to behold I should think…l- Tim Marlow
