Russian Interior colours circa 1965/70

cleaning off adhesive and re-painting
I had a minor glue disaster earlier, standard plastic glue (humbrol) and I dropped my nicely painted Hurricane spinner into it. It was yellow, but after wiping the worst of the glue off, it took most of the paint too. So how best to clean it up now? smooth it over, prime and yellow again...- Neil
