    It's starting to take shape with the major sub assemblies now fixed to the hull. There's a minor amount of filling & sanding to do once the glue dries but nothing to write home about. I've left all of the rubber buffers (?) off for now as I think they'll be easier to paint separately.

    Thanks Ian! No, I've never tried spraying powders. Sounds like a good way to make a mess though 😂 I actually tried to make it look more dirty than muddy, since Monte Carlo is primarily a road / tarmac event, but there's still plenty of muck thrown up.

    Thanks for the support gents. I've got the back half of the load area and the engine deck built, just rested in place here. It did bring some more etch madness though! This item appears to be a cooling radiator, to which the instructions ask you to add an etch grille front & back...

    I know it's a long shot but my son has broken the spring in his tamiya side cutters. Any ideas if replacements can be bought, and if so, where from? Or is a case of him (or me more likely 😂) buying a new pair? Thanks
