The above illustration shows why US Army artillery prime movers were equipped w/two spare tires as the thinking went they would need additional off road capability to emplace their weapons. Photo evidence shows seldom used by US, but I'll bet Russia used it.- minitnkr

Thank you gentlemen. Actually these represent units involved in the Moselle crossings south of Metz, Sept. 1944. I was going to dio some of it, but as can be seen even small portions would be very large in size. Dornot is just north of Noveant off the Arnaville map. I'm thinking of maybe doing... -
