    The downfall seems to be slowing. 18" on the ground. Refreshed the Yorky's path and cleared the front walk for the Postman. I'll take some pics when I thaw out.

    .....and here we are shortly before noon w/a foot of powder on the ground. I shoveled a path for our 8lb Yorky to find 'a spot', but that was the extent of my efforts as my old finger bones don't like 17F weather. Still coming down at an inch an hour.

    Looks like we had 6 to 8" overnight, still coming down at about an inch an hour. Not typical for Dayton.

    Realized I never finished the Reclamation & Evacuation Section of the Automotive Platoon from the Ordinance Maintenance Battalion. Working M25 & two wreckers.

    Determined blocking w/timber the best way to secure dozer as scale chain can be a pain in the butt and would require many attach points on dozer & trailer. I've supplied 13 points for other types of load.

    Mucking about on the bench after fixing the D9 with pcs/parts trying to use spares box articulated five ton suspension and BW heavy truck frame in a heavy 25 ton trailer for the tractor to pull and maybe carry the D9.
