Avro Lancaster B.MK1/III Nose Border Model

I'm not one for doing build threads, I don't think I'm good enough and quite often get frustrated and give up on it, I'm determined to complete this, it won't be a detailed build just more like a few pics as and when I do a bit. I thought this was ok until I took a picture of it and noticed a...

The difference between what we have and what we had

I can't attached am image to a comment, so Tim Marlow I got it wrong, there isn't 40gb of files, that is when they are archived, it takes up a bit more space than that, and with the subdirectories there are a lot to go through, I have them all on my PC at work, but they are all called something...

The difference between what we have and what we had

It might just be me but I can not get my head around how VB is so much different to Xenforo, I've done side by side screenshots, using XF default theme from their site XF is cleaner without the descriptions, but I can fix that. Once in the forum the layout is again the same, the only...

    AK real colour and varnish

I’ve never use Real colour paints so I thought I would give them a try, I thinned 50/50 with Mr Color thinner, they sprayed really well and I got a nice finish, I’m a bit confused what is the best varnish to use, they are advertised as an acrylic lacquer which I a bit confusing, I have a rattle...

Is everyone getting used to things?

It’s been a while now since we moved the forum, hopefully everyone is finding their way around and it wasn’t too much of an upheaval? The site is currently on a vb hosted package, we have used 15gb of bandwidth since moving here and only have 75gb to use for the month, it was always the plan to...

    Good tip for car scratches.

Fortunately it is plastic, fortunately my son hit someone in a car park last year and she new a guy that fixes scratches, he did a good job on my sons car and her car and didn’t charge the earth, he’s quoted £90 which is really good, this is a close up of it.

    Good tip for car scratches.

I went out this morning and parked in Morrisons car park, only had the car 2 months and came back to this, no details left When we got back my wife got out a tube of basic own brand toothpaste and tooth brush and now it looks like this I must say I’m quite impressed. :)
